Electoral College rejection
It looks like Electoral College rejection is gaining momentum.
Article on Electoral college rejection
House Republicans held a rare Saturday night conference call to address their goal of overturning the Electoral College results on Wednesday, U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks, R-Ala., told Fox News.
Brooks said 50 lawmakers, President Trump and White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows were on the call.
He said not all the members of Congress who participated supported challenging the Electoral College results, which favored Democrat Joe Biden. Brooks did not identify the House members who were on the call.
"The momentum to fight against voter fraud and election theft is rapidly gaining," Brooks told Fox News. "And as a consequence, the numbers that we had who were supportive yesterday are almost always supplemented by reinforcements today and the next day.”
Ted Cruz requesting And 11 other Republican Senators requesting audit
A group of GOP senators led by Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, will object to the Jan. 6 certification of the presidential election results next week unless there is an emergency 10-day audit of the results by an electoral commission.
How will this effect the GA runoff? What is the GOP’s endgame? Any chance that there is an audit? Is President Biden* going to be able to govern under this cloud... during a pandemic?

Sloe*!won’t be able to govern whether this happens or not.
The fix is in. Clearly even he and his caretakers are aware of that.

Biden will be certified on Jan 6th. All that putting it to a vote does it makes the seditionists self identify. That’s why Mitch McConnell is against it, it won’t do anything and puts them on the record to be used against them in the future.

You do realize this process won't begin until AFTER the GA Senate run-offs don't you?

The vote CANNOT happen on Jan 6th if one Senator and one representative object to even a single elector. The process requires a minimum 2 hour hearing for each objected elector, if they cannot vote on electoral slate by the deadline, the Vice President is picked by Senate majority vote, and the President is picked by the House via state delegations the GOP controls 33 states. If the process makes it that far Trump could still be President and Pence VP. I doubt it makes it that far but the end game for those filing objections isn't a final vote on the electoral college slate it's to force the Senate/House selection process.

I guess technically the Democrats are correct in calling that "early voting" since they did it at 2 AM (even if it was after the polls closed).

The Democrats already identified their seditious tendencies over the last 4 years. Them voting to certify the election doesn't make them look more seditious.

Now, now Bullet. You know the rules for Democrats - Do as I say, Not as I do.
They forget that their side has also gone against the vote recently.

RE: Electoral College rejection
I'm wondering if any House or Senate members who are from states where the results were close (they're not in question in my eyes, but use that wording if you rather) would be okay with not being seated in the meantime. I mean if the results are in question in Wisconsin, Michigan, PA, GA, NV, etc., then surely any House or Senate member who was just elected in those states must concede their own results are in question as well?
I'm not sure if any of the 11 Senators we're talking about fit that category, although Johnson in Wisconsin didn't win his election by much more of a margin in 2016 than Biden did in 2020. I'm guessing there are some House members who fit that category though.

Like when Gore and Biden both followed the process and counted up the electoral college votes of republican wins without drama, vs the fit we see being thrown in the White House right now.

Apparently not).

FIFH up there in bold.
So, EACH Member objecting gets 2 hours to speak/debate, or EACH Elector that is objected to gets to be spoken/debated about about for 2hs total each, or EACH Member gets to speak/debate 2hrs on Each Elector objected to, which, yeah, any of those could take a while. So when you say "by the deadline" above, what time/day is that where a vote would be forced by the House (one State, 1 vote) and the Senate?

The reprisal is coming from We The People; President Trump is just the conduit. The People continue their strong support for President Trump: https://csnbbs.com/thread-914023.html

President of House/Senate will ask if there's an objection. If somebody has any objection(s), they'll go into the 2 hour session in which every member has 5 minutes to explain their objection(s) and any other member has 5 minutes to question/debate it if they choose.
https://www.archives.gov/electoral-college/provisions
That was what my initial thought was: total debate would be 2 hours, but then reading some of the descriptions it seemed like maybe each member got that time alloted. I guess we'll see on Tuesday.
Anyone here going to President Trump rally on Monday evening? We'll be driving down to join the People.
