Even under Ricardo the teams were not this bad. Absolute embarrassment. Cut ties now and be first in-line for what will be a cost effective replacement no doubt. Might as well look for a Div. 2 or 3 coach that can actually coach players up on fundamentals and run some kind of offense. Maybe we could afford Iowa's 3rd assistant.

Agreed. And, we need to find someone who can recruit players that can be coached up.

I will definitely not be renewing my season tickets as long as Monty is the coach. I would much rather donate the money to some street vagrant.

Frankly, it has few D1 players. This roster is a complete mess.

Except for our big win over Chicago State, it seems like we usually score in the 50s. Not going to win many games with that offense, especially with a bad defense.

This is not a D1 team. This is as bad of a team as Monty’s 1st and 2nd year here. This will be his last year here no if ands or buts he’s gone! I think he might get let go before the end of the year. This is going to get really bad right now

This is one of the rare photos of Tom without his gym teacher's whistle (though I think it may be buried under his shirt).

I think I got him and Mark Mangino mixed up in appearance. Now THAT'S a large man.

He is not large anymore. I saw him at an Alumni event last year in Tampa and he was fit. He is retired and living in Florida. Tom would go to the jail and speak to non violent offenders about various topics over the years. He is a good man!

Of course he is! We make fun in jest. I read that he went on a Pilates diet. Good for him!
