I agree that the committee likely dropped Cincy to #9 to make sure that no wild and wacky weekend shakeup could matriculate them in to the top four in the final rankings.

But the second part is a real stretch. I doubt the CFP members are thinking about what could possibly happen five years from now in a new system.

Meanwhile depending on the time of the year Houston and Tulsa are exchanging the lead for overall conference championships and we showed up a year later than both of you. Since joining in basketball we have the third most conference wins and a conference championship, in football we are headed to our 3rd bowl, have a ten win season, ranked playing for the conference championship this year. So we have kicked the **** out of Memphis in everything and UCF in football and basketball. The only overall athletic program that competes with Tulsa in this damn league is Houston. Cincy has basketball sewed up and UCF has been dominant in football but both trail Tulsa and Houston.

Memphis? They have a foreign currency for their basketball coach with an incoming show cause, a history of success only when cheating going back five decades, and a four year run of decent football in a history of absolute **** program, with one lucky year needing Tulsa to miss a field goal for it all to happen.
