4+ minute scoring drought for the Hawks. Ugh.

5 minutes, 30 seconds since the last field goal.

Only way we were going to stay within range in this one would have been some hot shooting. Ole Miss is only shooting 36 % but is still shooting better than us (29 %).

Games like this remind me of why Keatts never won a NCAAT game at UNCW.

We had a similar scoring drought against that juggernaut ecu.

Only thing that kept us in that game with a chance to win was ecu’s colossal 2nd half collapse. They should’ve spanked us by 20+ too.

He would’ve had to recruit some more bigs. You just can’t run out 4-5 guard lineups against schools like this and expect to even have a chance. Keatts had plenty of time to recruit bigs that could’ve held off the least of the Plumlee brothers. Instead, he ran them off and our little lineup made Plumlee look like Shaq in the early 2000s.

Finally Gadsden with a 3 to cut it to 11.

Don’t get me wrong Steere wasn’t impressive against St.Andrew’s but then again it was his first game of the season. I don’t think there would be any harm in putting him in and seeing if he can at least grab some defensive rebounds

I agree. Just more questionable coaching by Siddle. It’s a head scratcher.

Not to worry though. I’m sure Bowen is in there body’ing up the competition.

Agreed. Steere looked a little lost out there against St Andrew's, but we need a big body out there, period. Might as well give him a look. We're not winning this game either way.

Tolefree is brutal.
