just going by what we last saw of them.. similar arguments could be made for Jeffries, Anei, deandre Williams who are all also coming off of surgery based injuries aswell..

i dont try to guess the impact of an injury, which will be impossible.. like i noted this is a preseason ranking, not a post season projection.... if he plays bad, he'll be docked throughout the season..

multiple aac coaches prior to his injury called yetna the best big man in the aac (a league that had gardner, tacko fall, dawuan jeffries, martins igbanu, tre scott and more)..no one is questioning if Durant is still a top 3 player in the NBA after missing a year with a significant injury, we just assume he is and wait to see otherwise

Just because you brought him up, I'm interested to see if Durant can stay healthy. Achilles injuries can really affect soft tissue areas (like Cousins with his hammy). I don't doubt he'll still be an effective player (top 3 as you noted), but I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to consider him top 3 if he can't stay on the court. I hope he comes back full strength, he's fun to watch.

No students on campus and nothing is happening anywhere near campus. UCF student speaking here so I would know. Hard to get sick unless you go out of your way to be an idiot

sampson has noted that because this a free year (how many games you play dont matter), there is now a chance that fabian white plays this year. we arent planning on it, or rushing him to recovery, but if he is fully cleared and ready to play he will play

projected recovery time around aac tourney time ..will likely definitely play if there is any delay or pushback to the season or tourney

would have been somewhere in the 14-20 range in the top 52

I don't understand with contact tracing how it doesn't affect the entire basketball team...5 on 5 at practice eliminates 10 guys.

Would have to be that a player was a contact trace outside practice and hadn't been to another practice, so other players weren't involved?

Rand is an obvious example. He stayed at home for the So Dakota trip due to contact tracing, but the rest of the team is there.

st mary is not returning a lot but they have a history of always being a top 75 no matter who is lost..
if st marys does what it always does, and memphis is a nit level team like last year that could be an upset
