You asked for facts, you got facts Jethro.
No, just having a little fun with anyone who thinks the color of a uniform has anything to do with with wins and losses. Kind of like a rabbits foot, or wishing on a shooting star, or bad luck from a black cat or walking under a ladder. But go ahead. This Jethro will depend on the quality of play and the occasional bad referee call.
Sorry if I offended Canada. The few Canadians I know are good solid people with a sense of humor. I guess there certainly are exceptions.

What do you think about this list Jethro?
Tiger Woods - Red shirt on Sunday
Michael Jordan - UNC shorts under uniform
Wade Boggs - Chicken
Cal - Said he was going to burn our black uniforms one year
Playoff beards
Jethro would be the clueless guy in the dugout in the 7th inning, asking why nobody has mentioned that the pitcher hasn't given up a hit.
People superstitious? Not sure why you keep trying to prove something everybody agrees does exist. Still doesn’t mean it’s, real, rational, or by itself has any impact on outcomes. Can irrational beliefs impact someone to the point of psychological impact? Possibly. Apparently it does impact you but last time I checked all you have is an opinion which has zero impact on anything. If the players and coaches decide it’s a problem then I have no problem with them never wearing black and white. There are color combos I like better.
Jethro insisting it is an irrational belief that has no impact, versus Tiger Woods, Wade Boggs, Michael Jordan, virtually every single athlete that has played any sport since the beginning of time.
I am truly torn. I don't know who to believe.
It does to those that are superstitious.
Every team in the NHL playoffs, since forever, have rocked the playoff beards.

Throw in Wayne Gretsky and Pele and I'm with you.
I gave a few examples, leaving out hockey players because there aren't that many hockey fans here.
Quote:Wayne Gretzky's Beverage Ritual
This superstition is probably one of the most well-known involving Wayne Gretzky
Gretzky was a creature of habit, and he had a superstition that involved drinking the same beverages between periods. He also would repeat the order of consumption each time he needed to quench his thirst.
The Great One would drink a Diet Coke, an ice water, a Gatorade and a second Diet Coke before getting back onto the ice for the next period. It certainly is a unique way to consume beverages, but it obviously worked for Gretzky.
Almost all hockey players and many baseball players wear playoff beards; they don't shave the entire playoffs.
I work for the Nashville Predators and our whole organization rocks the playoff beard lol.
Ike was confused on Saturday, when He turned on the game a player in blue made a great play, Ike let out a yell
Before realizing wrong team.
Ike also feels TIGER BLUE should have a strong presence in our uniforms, however having KORAZZZZI colors occasionally is fun.
Many know Ike has been lobbying for a uniform consisting of
Lavender Jersey
Black pants
Gold or chrome Hats
White shoes with tiger stripes
Wear those unies and Ike GARONTEEES The Tigers will be the talk of the nation
The Lavender can be switched to Pink the following year.
TIGERNATION MUST BE BOLD AND CREATIVE
I prefer helmets without stripes too, seems we've gone stripe crazy lately. Younger fans like it and if the recruits like it ... I'm good. Same with the uniforms. Blue, grey and white combos ... But hey ...

So you’re superstitious. Given over to unreasonable, unprovable and unsustainable beliefs about what influences outcomes. Now throw in another juvenile name calling Act to top it off. Or maybe you just wanted to compare me to Moses’ father-in-law. Who knows.

And yet none of them 100% of the time, so I think we can throw out the idea that superstitions results in wins and losses...
Well, on a similar topic but NTR, Oklahoma lost to an Iowa State team in Ames for the first time in 60 years. Iowan State was wearing uniforms with no school colors on them, yet I am pretty sure not a single one of their fans were upset over that. As far as the random color schemes it's a new thing many schools are doing now. If the players and prospects like it then I'm fine with it.
The only plausible defense I can come up with for not using random uniform colors is if the scheme somehow makes the players less identifiable for even a split second that could impact a play, but that wasn't the case Saturday. The simple fact is, the Tigers played a good team who has had practice, was at 100%, and has played more games. Factoring out the rustiness due to lack of playing and practicing, the Tigers wearing the white and silver would more than likely have won the game. They didn't, though, and the uniforms weren't the problem.

Jethro has a friend, great. You guys should message Tiger Woods and tell him what a fool he is. He will probably appreciate the feedback.

What are you talking about? His all time win percentage is sub 25% and he wore red on 100% of events most likely. You are the one trying to act like jerseys are the reason we lost. Explain to me why Tiger does not win 100% of the time simply because he wears red on Sunday.
We lost because SMU played better than us Saturday, not because we wore white jerseys with black stripes... I am willing to take the bet that if we wore those jerseys every game for the rest of the year we would still win the vast majority of our remaining and games despite your inane superstition..

Don’t get me wrong, I love the white unis and striped helmets. Just use the Tiger blue somewhere. The right one.
