Most likely, if a Dem was in charge the death count would be the same. Follow the money and you know it would be true. The "death by COVID" number is inflated because the gov't incentivized hospitals and the states to do so in order to get additional funding.

No different than Pelosi trying to grossly inflate "aid bills" designed to bail out cities who are seeing population flight coupled with unrealistic pension obligations that can be bridged by using the pandemic as coverage. No crisis should be allowed to go to waste per Rob Emanuel.
