Seems like if there was a living breathing head of the DOJ, they could at least make life uncomfortable for those people.

I don’t know. If they were government issued and to be used for official business, there are regulations regarding record retention. Of course you would have to prove it was purposely deleted. While any person with common sense can tell this was intentional, that doesn’t equal proof that it was.

Keep in mind that all these people are attorneys and not stupid. I’m sure they knew what they could get away with.

This is more proof of a conspiracy to take down a President. This was no accident and was ordered from the top.

Obstruction of justice, especially if any of it occurred after Horowitz was appointed to look into them.

Not sure I'd automatically equate being an attorney with "not being stupid".

Easy there Banker.... You do know that many, many congressmen and senators are also lawyers by educational degree - right? I am not so sure I would use the term "Not Stupid" when describing them.
