After reading through all the input so far, I'm hoping it happens.

I wasn't aware of a waiver for this year. I know a waiver was granted for some spring sports last year.

All he needs is approval to play this season.

Man, if we can get Steere, Phillips and Pridgen playing by the time conference games begin, we could have a nasty roster!

And Carr. Of course we have no idea what he can truly do as a freshman yet, but having a solid backup PG for when Phillips needs a quick break to keep the show rolling could be fantastic.

There is a proposal that could be voted on by next week that would allow all transfers immediate waivers. With the free extra year of eligibility and allowing all waivers it seems that Pridgen would be eligible to play if this passes

Interesting. I guess that would make Trazarien White immediately available also?

Hmmmmm. Could Pridgen be Coach Siddle's Chris Flemmings?

Big difference. Flemmings was an unknown at a D2, whereas Pridgen was a stud at a D1

True. What I was referring to was that Pridgen's play could do for Siddle what Femming's was for Keats. I am aware of the known/unknown factor for each player but the roles played for their respective coaches could be similar.

RE: Joe Pridgen makes ESPN's list of Spring sit-out transfers eligible for 2021-22
Very impressive debut performance for Pridgen. He made some nice defensive plays and drew several fouls from the opposition, including an early 2nd foul on Suggs that knocked him out of the game for a while.

He also had a nice pass inside to Bowen for an easy 2 late in the 1st half. Early in the 2nd half, as part of our big run, he had a steal and fastbreak jumper in the paint that drew us to within 1.

42 minutes played, 11 points (4-8 shooting), 7 rebounds (4 OREB), 2 steals. Not bad at all. I look forward to him growing within the offense as he and his teammates get used to each other.
