My daughter was living in Jackson MS this past year. Gyms had recently opened but required masks.

She moved back to Memphis last week and transferred her Planet Fitness membership to the nearby location here. She's already been a couple of times. They require masks there, too.

Wife has a PF membership here. Mask when you enter, but not when working out. They initially tried to make it mandatory the whole time but quickly retreated on that part of the mask wearing when everyone basically said GFY.

I use the Y. Temp checks when you enter. Masks when you enter, but not when working out.

It's less crowded. First time in 5 years of going I can use the fly machine without waiting because all the old farts aren't around.

WV is open. Wife does Orange Theory, only change is they have limited class sizes and require masks plus additional wipe down time between station rotations.

Anytime Fitness near me has closed permanently. I believe gyms will have higher failure rate than restaurants when this madness ends.

BREAKING:
Gretchen allows gyms to reopen

News lately has been gym owners have been getting testy. My guess is her internal polling on it was really bad.

Been open since June 1 in Ohio and Ky. I go to LA Fitness in both states, and people wear a dumb mask coming in but then 95% of people take them off LOL.
