Going off a similar branch, the Super Bowl halftime show is what's making me want to put the NFL away for good, not necessarily all the kneeling/BLM ****. I'm not a prude, I think it's yummy, but there's a time & place for stripper poles & primetime TV w/ millions of kids watching isn't it.

This could not be further from reality.

This type of stuff would never have been put out in the 1960's and 1970's, much less as mainstream and embraced by the media, progressive culture and politicians. Some people were outraged by the glorification of the drug culture and sexual revolution in music even in those times. And 98% of them were recorded by men. There was even a major cultural outrage over Elvis and him shaking his hips way back in the late 1950's.

I think this is the point several are making. It's the DNC.. Big time convention, and to pander to a certain audience Joe allowed a stripper turned rapper, who has a sketchy past and a slew of eyebrow raising songs, interview him.

If Trump allowed someone like that to interview him, would there be pearl clutching is the question? Can't say cause it hasn't happened... yet

Liberals will clutch pearls about anything. They did it when Bernie went on Rogan ffs. So yes, I assume. Personally I don't consider a candidate talking to someone to be an endorsement of the interviewee. Thought it was ridiculous when Dems refused to go on Fox News too.

FWIW Biden talking to Cardi B was not part of the DNC. If she was actually featured at the convention I'd maybe see your point a little more.
