White House Press Briefings back
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/poli...439052002/

It's smart of him to promote the masks at this point...it will likely help him gain ground back with moderate voters who don't pay too much attention to politics.

He needs to pump up the progress that's been made with vaccine trials and therapeutics. Send a positive message, don't fall for the media gotcha questions, he knows they're coming.

Anyone else disagree/agree?

Nobody cares what he has to say. He's already proven himself to be useless. It's even comical listening to the republiklan explain to teachers why they should go back to school, get sick and die. The party of the Antichrist has a new motto. "There are more important things than living". 05-stirthepot

sure better than last time...injecting lysol and using magic lights inside the body didn't help his poll numbers any.

Everything would be so much better if we were led by a dementia patient who thinks 120 million people died from gun violence last weekend and actually believes getting rid of cops would fix that problem. 04-cheers

Wonder if the senile old fktard will actually embarrass himself further by debating Trump or just take the gutless cowardly way out.

Not all teachers are nursing home residents. You do know that, right?

Average teaching age is 42-43 years old.

I would be nervous for older teachers but I think the vast majority will be fine. That said, I fear for the older teachers/parents/immune at risk that may be affected by mass school reopenings. I haven't seen a scheme/plan yet that exempts those populations and gives some kind of assistance due to their at risk nature.

It would be inappropriate to ask an older teacher or one with immune risk to go back to work.

I'm in agreement on limiting exposure of older or vulnerable teachers, but studies have shown that children tend not to spread the virus among themselves or to adults at the same rate as adult to adult transmission. Surely the teachers and staff at schools can distance themselves from one another.
