Today marks UConn's last day in the AAC.

I wish the Huskies well in the future.

Goodbye UConn

I know a lot of words have been said these past few years over the tenuous relationship between your Athletic institution and the conference, but in the end I'm sure it was a tough decision that will ultimately prove beneficial to both sides.

I hope you guys are as successful as you aspire to be some day, and that we both come to regret this decision in the future! And I mean that in the best way possible. :)

We'll always have the Civil ConFLiCT!

Farewell UConn. Hope to see a baseball series in the future, or maybe a regional visit.

I encourage you all to take the road trip to a Xavier game in lovely Norwood. Don't worry, at that point when you start looking around at the neighborhood and freaking out that you were given the wrong directions... you're in the right place.

Then you'll quickly realize that in Cincinnati-world you just broke up with Christie Brinkley to go out with Rosie O'Donnell.

Was going to make a joke about the trophy coming back home in 2021... But I don't think you guys ever took it home with you in the first place lol

Good luck to UConn in the Big East. Games vs long time rivals that excite fans is what drives college sports. Hard to criticize a school that seeks to give its fans the rivalries they crave.

Today marks the exit of the last team who was a member of the Big East before the BEFC was formed. Only Temple remains as a link to this Conference’s history as a founding member of the BEFC.

May both UConn and the AAC find success in their new directions.

The AAC was fun. I'll miss having UConn in an all sports conference. Good luck to the AAC going forward. It's been a hell of a tough conference especially in football. Hope you guys can stay rated higher than the ACC.

RE: Farewell UConn
I'm pleasantly surprised you all have taken the high road, classy route on this thread. i guess I'll have to follow suit.

Thanks UCONN for the NCAA title in hoops in '14. Thanks for the baseball rivalry. Thanks for the football one too. Also, we can add former NCAA champs beaten in basketball for us to include UCONN. OK, so it was once. At least we have that. But, good luck and please do well in the Big East.
