Good God man! Are you trying to start a riot in here? They have the necksters ranked one spot above stAte. I can't decide if my fellow stAte fans will be more upset than the necksters who will say they shouldn't have to stand that close to us. LOL!!!
Also, 2 in the top 10 so congrats to Louisiana and App.

REALLY REALLY REALLY need another 2 or 3 teams to step up. Georgia Southern and Georgia State should be right on the cusp. 1 more from the West. The writers clearly believe our top 2 teams are right there with the best in the G5 but after that they see a massive drop off.

If it weren't for that meddling Tyson Summers...
We were there at the end of 2015. When we said he sat our program back a minimum of 5 years, we weren't exaggerating.

I'd argue Southern Miss is too high. I'm not sure if we should be top 25 but they shouldn't be over us.

After about #15 it's a crap shoot, the next 20 are within 7 points of each other.

Trying to do a preseason top 25 of G5 is a total crap shoot. Very few G5 programs are consistent enough to be ranked in a preseason list like this. Top 5 or Top 10 based on who they have coming back OK but once you go past that you are grasping at straws.

We don't mind playing Arkansas State. You guys have done an amazing job in football over the last decade.

I'm not super familiar with this ranking. Do they update it every week during the season?

Some people blow things way out of proportion. Lot of respect for programs that have to do things the old fashion way.

As much as I hate tech I don't get how they're the 6th ranked C-Usa team. The West is a lot easier then the east and they had as good of a season as every team above them basically.

These are clearly tough times for GS and Troy. But look who's slappin the ceiling now. Very nice showing ULL. The great ifs of this season. If GS and Troy can defy the naysayer and one or two more can begin the inevitable ascent looky looky. Folks this is good stuff. This ranking gives the Sun Belt all the room it needs to continue the push foward.

What's your beef? I have mostly left you alone yet you constantly attempt to antagonize me. Show some maturity. Back off.

Maybe a little OT, but which program is the best FB program in C-USA? FAU? WKU? Marshall? UAB? No one seems dominant. The MAC is a bit that way, too.
My other thought is that although I made an entire thread about how I believe all the arrows are pointing up for the individual programs in the SB, this ranking, albeit just one group's opinion, indicates the SB still has a ways to go. Kinda shocking that C-USA has more programs highly rated than the SB in spite if all the metrics indicating the SB has outperformed C-USA in recent years.

I wouldn’t put too much stock into it. I mean, isn’t this entire poll the work of one individual? This is at the bottom of that page:
Quote: Originally from LaMoure, North Dakota, Kent is a 1996 graduate of North Dakota State University. His prior writing experience is over 15 years having previously worked with D2football.com, I-AA.org, and College Sporting News before coming to College Sports Journal in 2016. His main focus is college football in the western half of the United States– the Big Sky Conference and Missouri Valley Football Conference within the Division I FCS. And in 2017, he began also to look at the FBS Group of Five conferences of the American Athletic, Conference USA, Mid-American, Mountain West, and Sun Belt.
