I fully approve of the players rights to put out a message in the hopes of driving social change for the better. They can put out a stronger, detailed message during half time - hell they can even elect to all kneel for a moment of silence for a minute or 2 at the start of kick-off. However, not during the displaying of the flag and the national anthem. That sends a message to us that they loathe our country, our military, our police, firefighters and our first responders. JMHO.

I'm right there with you. If they don't respect the flag or the widespread opinion about it enough to change the way they make their statement, screw them. I'm done. And I won't just be done, I'll be vocal about it.

I have felt that way more about the NBA for a long time, much more so than the NFL.
