Illinois DE Commits to CMU
Defensive End Jonah Pace (6-5, 235) of Marengo (Ill.) High School announced his commitment to Central Michigan this evening, via Twitter.

A class of 2021 recruit, Pace was offered a scholarship by the Chippewas on March 25. He chose CMU over reported offers from Illinois State, Indiana State, Eastern Illinois, Western Illinois, Fordham, Murray State and North Dakota. He also reported recruiting interest from Iowa, Iowa State, Northern Illinois and Miami.

Pace becomes the seventh known verbal commitment in the Chippewas 2021 class.

FIRE UP CHIPS! :)

RE: Illinois DE Commits to CMU
FYI, Marengo is a small town about 25 miles north of DeKalb.

Yes, NIU might be sorry they didn't offer this rising star. I suspect they still could in an effort to flip him.

FIRE UP CHIPS! :)
