#grazie ... that shite sickens me....

now more understand/know why JR and many others on this board hammer lobbyists/washtub/term limits/etc - which I define such as, "corpshite 'murica"

#freedom is a misnomer...

#swamp is apropos....

lmmfao....in an instant, she's been silenced again by #muhInternutz.....

Yep... i had two personal videos taken down, cause I was complaining I wanted to be back in the office and mentioned the {YOU TUBE CENSORED} stuff about why I thought we needed to be back in our daily routines..

it's why this is my one stop shop for info....and I was once 'permanently' banned....

Conspiracy and Big Pharma? I remember the first one I ever heard was in the late 70's and early 80's and was an interesting confluence of corporate involvement.

Monsanto was working on genetically modifying seeds to produce crops less digestible to insects was thought to be one way to increase yields and decrease crop damage due to insects. The concept of making it less digestible to insects had of course the same result on humans. Vegetables involved reacted normally in the human body. When something is less digestible your stomach pumps more acid on the chewed food. The increase in acid took us from the occasional Tums or Rolaids to Prilosec, Nexium, and Prevacid and a new Big Pharma business was born.

It awakened the concept that a change in one area of life could necessitate the need of drugs for a related issue. Pretty soon they discovered that the side effects of one drug could necessitate the use of another or of a supplement. Take a stain and you likely buy high dosages of vitamin D3 since it helps with the resultant muscle pain. Take some forms of blood pressure medication or some statins and you need CoQ10. If chemotherapy upsets your stomach then they have a cocktail of medications for that.

So now what we are witnessing is the creation of a virus that requires the specific qualities of a failed drug. Rendesivir didn't work well for what it was created to do. The companies lost a lot of money and patents didn't pay off. Create a virus that needs it, invest in it while it is near a low pricewise and voila, instant riches. Only in this case political payoff as well.

There are some sinister folks in the world. Common people never think this way. Those who profit from your illness or pain do. And those with a political agenda against your freedom damn sure do!

Well said, JRsec. I'm of the mind to believe that in general, Big Pharma isn't really interested in curing diseases but rather in creating drugs to treat the symptoms. That way, they have a built-in customer base for life and not a one time treatment to cure it. Follow the $$$$

There are stories about a natural cancer cure for several forms of cancer that was discovered by a researcher for one big pharma company. Since it was a natural substance, they could not patent it and make money off it. They tried for years to create the same thing synthetically but ended up giving up and so they buried it and nobody outside of a few ever heard of it.
