Sun Belt attendance numbers
MEN'S BASKETBALL FINAL ATTENDANCE
1. Louisiana - 3,730
2. South Alabama - 2,640
3. Troy - 2,509
4. Texas State - 2,285
5. UL-Monroe - 1,993
6. Georgia State - 1,947
7. UT-Arlington - 1,754
8. App State - 1,685
9. Little Rock - 1,560
10. Arkansas State - 1,506
11. Georgia Southern - 1,497
12. Coastal Carolina - 1,229
Our attendance is pitiful, but in line with most of the Belt. 8 teams had average attendance of below 2000. I used to view attendance below 2000 as "pitiful", but that's par for the course for Sun Belt schools. USA is probably below 2000, if you take away the over 10K crowd they had for Auburn. Only school whose attendance isn't embarrassing is ULL, and it probably half of what I remember them drawing in the "old days". I think there is one sure thing- attendance will be lower this season, unless Trump's claim that the coronavirus will "disappear" comes true. I guess our number is not that awful when you consider the fact we probably have the smallest student body, and surely the least on-campus students of any Belt school. We probably are near the top in season ticket sold.

RE: Sun Belt attendance numbers
ASU's drop in attendance is pretty amazing as well. I remember the days when they would regularly get in the 7K range for weekend conference games. I guess times have changed, at least, for midmajors. I tend believe ASU would see a big rise in attendance if they have a year or two like we did this year. Maybe, not the 7 to 8K, they used to draw, but maybe 4-5K which would put them at the top of the league. If we can't draw more than 1500, winning the league, with a super exciting team, I don't see much hope for future attendance.

RE: Sun Belt attendance numbers
Until we see what the societal fall-out from this bug will be, I am not making any predictions. I am more worried about my 401K hanging in there so I can stay retired.
