Neither is an AAC conference schedule. Ever.

Well, based on our last two bowl games we'd be favored in at least two games on this killer schedule.

That’s not how it works. Those players don’t play there anymore.

Also, why was my original reply deleted?
I still see your reply knocking on UC's teams from 35 years ago.

And what did that exactly violate? Where is the line? Two years and then it’s off limits?

So can we pretend UNC doesn’t not have a football title because of the time cutoff?

This is the ACC board. That one letter makes a difference.

Nothing, just saying that you said it wasn't there but it is.

In that case make us the favorites in all but about two, then.

Bearcat fans:. What is your opinion on your AD? I worked with John at Syracuse on fan engagement issues and I figured he would be an AD within 5-10 years. Actually it was less than 3.

I unapproved your post as well as a Cinci fans post because I didnt want to see a flame fest between UNC fans and Cinci fans. Why cant you guys debate without taking potshots at each others schools, which leads to flaming?

Mainly because Cincinnati fans consistently come to this board either ragging on the ACC, or announcing how they’d beat ACC teams. It’s annoying how obsessed they are. It’s like they’ve taken the place of ECU fans.

No way...you would find out those ACC refs don't take too kindly to northern teams. Trust me LOL.

Look the AAC had a solid year: Cincy and UCF would be very competitive in the ACC but you guys would take some losses. Half of the AAC was mediocre to hot garbage. You don't get too many layups in the ACC.

Too early to say, but he did manage to keep Fickell at UC (may have been luck that Luke didn't want to leave his players at that time of year, may have been some great selling by John). We'll see how he does with fund raising and such (which, in the current environment, is going to be crazy).

John is a good guy but he seems more cerebral than salesman. Not sure he'll be a dynamic speaker but if Cincy keeps winning that should not matter.

Overall, I'm thinking schools are going to have bad fundraising seasons. Wouldn't surprise me to see STHers decrease too. Many older fans might use this virus as an excuse to stay home. I think Cincy has built a stadium that works great size wise. I would not change a thing. I see the trend of football attendance contracting nationally to continue.

I think UC fans have been very civil overall. Nobody attacked until they were provoked. As far as coming on this board, there are a lot of UC fans on this site, and we have long standing relationships with several schools in the ACC- particularly Louisville which the thread is supposed to be about.

As far as claiming we could beat ACC schools, excuse us for displaying some school pride.

Look, I don't come on here looking to start trouble. I mainly just come on here on occasion to see if you all are discussing anything of interest when our board gets a bit stale.

However, I don't think were intruding because 1) I think we would fit in well in this conference, 2) we've been conference mates before with about half the conference, and 3) I think we UC fans are fairly objective. It's just that some of you simply don't like what we have to say.

And yeah, if I think Louisville's schedule isn't all that challenging I don't think it's a crime to say so.

If Louisville doesn't like it, ...then put us on the schedule.

But just remember this is the ACC board. ACC fans should be able to freely express themselves about any other school or conference here. If not here then where? Remember it was a UC fan who pretty much derailed this thread by stating that Louisville ACC schedule isnt that tough outside of Clemson. You wouldnt like it if Acc fans came over to your board and starting taking shots at your conference, so dont do it here. And the UNC fan is correct. There are several Cinci fans that like to do driveby flaming over here. I know other boards tolerate a lot of flaming. We dont here, especially from visiting posters.

So please. even if you see something posted here that you dont like about your school or conference, even if you feel you are being provoked, be respectful. Or else dont read this board, if you cant handle it. That goes for all visitors, moderators or not.

I'll differ from Cuseroc a little... although he might clean up messes I don't see.

My take:
Cincy Fans>>>>>>UCF fans

I can vouch for that. I don't mind you guys here at all...95% of you guys are great posters. You do have one dooshe that posts at csnbbs but he hasn't infected this board

You guys have a normal fanbase unlike the entitled nouveau riche near Disney World.

Mark,

I feel the same way you do about Cinci fans. When I say several trouble makers, Im talking about a couple. They know who they are because I have had to clean up their messes before, sometimes before anyone else sees it. This includes un-approving their comments multiple times or giving out warnings. I dont have a problem with Cinci fans as a whole posting on this board because most are respectful. But I can see why other ACC fans, who may not have any history at all with Cinci fans, may get annoyed at little things, and thats why I ask all visitors to be respectful, so that threads dont get derailed and become a smack fest.

Yeah, we're not ACC but I think we should at least be given a visitor's badge being that we were at some point in the same conference with Louisville, Syracuse, Pitt, ND, Florida St., Ga Tech and VT.

I think you're looking at it wrong.

Yeah, we're not ACC but I think we should at least be given a visitor's badge being that we were at some point in the same conference with Louisville, Syracuse, Pitt, ND, Florida St., Ga Tech and VT.

Just be respectful when you post here. Thats all that we ask.

LOL.

I dont want anyone to misunderstand me. Anyone and Everyone is welcomed to post on the ACC Board. In fact, I have invited several posters on other boards like the Realignment board to do so and they have. Just dont come over here taking shots. All that does is get other posters riled up, and then rather than debating, there are arguments and personal attacks. No one wants to have to read that kind of nonsense.
