RE: Cisse
Corey Evans, changed his crystal ball projection from LSU to Memphis. Evans is the guy who has spent the most time on Cisse.

You're looking at it backwards. Going to be hard for LSU to get him out of Memphis. May have trended that way for a minute, but until he signs...

Brain Snow over at 247 has an article now (Premium)

Change of heart for Moussa Cisse?

The gist is:

Quote:According to a source very close to the situation, "Moussa is going to Memphis."

July 1st was Evan Daniels last day at 247. So I think his crystal ball was stuck where it's at. That's my understanding at least.

If Cisse commits. That Deandre Williams waiver is the most important thing remaining on the board for us. With him we have a shop at top 2 at the league without Landers.

I think the sophomore progression has the most potential for impact on this team.

I don't see Lomax or Stokes being huge improvements on what we put on the floor this year.

But I could see Q, Baugh, Boogie and DJ being much more efficient offensively and making better decisions.

Maybe it's the hometown thing but I think Lomax will get much better.

we have a shot at much more if one of the two, along with Cisse, suits up

Cisse is the piece we need to keep from going backwards

i can see him becoming a monster by the end of the season....assuming there's a season.

Most interested in seeing if Baugh develops. He basically took himself out of games list year with absurd TOs and too many fouls. When he was actually focused he was great.

I think we all know what to expect with Q and DJ - even average progression and those guys are all conference.

Boogie I dont know what to think - he clearly isnt a PG but might be forced to play there to get big minutes.

I am most interested to see how Baugh and Dandridge improve--I think they have the most potential to be difference makers. I am also interested to see if DJ and Q can play better together. We were most successful last year when Q was out and DJ was our best offensive option. Even before DJ was injured, we struggled with both of them together.
