You're not catching anybody in the AAC unaware, lol. And you're not sneaking up on Miami Ohio. They live close by.
You shouldn't need to sneak up on Austin Peay or Western Michigan. That leaves Nebraska.
Nobody tell the Huskers!
Scott Frost can’t afford to sleep on anyone. Hot Seat
The problem is Nebraska can't afford to fire their home boy with the record that is less than Bo Pelini. Nebraska is stuck with that decision.
Didn't Frost just sign a contract extension?

Okay.
So for starters we return as many as 16 starters. We steamroll USF 48-21 at their place, and no offense but it wasn't even that close, and they have a new coach and they are three spots ahead of us.
We beat Houston at their place and lost to Memphis and Navy each by a play and they are all ranked significantly higher than us, despite us having answers, at least on paper, to the holes we have coming in.
Got it.
Jesus I hope the coach is posting this crap on the walls for motivation.
I agree, minus the hyperbole.
My unofficial ranking would be Memphis first, with UC, UCF and SMU all close behind in some order. Then Navy (they lost Perry). Then USF and Houston in some order, and maybe Temple after that. Tulsa, Tulane and ECU in the rear in some order.
I think the AAC title is wide open to the top 4 or 5, with USF and/or Houston maybe making a difference to the order of the final standings.
I laugh at this model and your predictions. UC extremely underrated and Tulane as well. Tulane will be better next year and has a better schedule. Navy & Usf are too high.
Opinions are like a-holes. Everybody has one.

I think that after the smoke has cleared, Cincinnati, Memphis and UCF will all be top 25. I cannot tell you the order. Much of that will have to deal with injuries and luck. I also believe that SMU and Tulane should be very good programs. USF is a complete unknown. I have left out Navy, because I can never remember their players. Ecu and Tulsa are trending in the correct direction. This should be a banner year in the AAC.

I was wondering how the hell SMU was so low too. It's even more baffling than the Cincy ranking, which was mind boggling.
These rankings are supposed to be "advanced analytics?"

Cincinnati is just not well liked or respected nationally. Its just the way it is-- I can remember back in our Big East run we were picked to finish last in the conference in 2007 (we went 10-3), the following year we had everyone back and were picked 5th out of 8 teams and went 11-3 and the year after that we had the entire offense back and were picked 3rd or 4th and went 12-1.

Tulane got an unexpected boost today. Corey Dauphine was granted another year of eligibility.

Love that guy, just need to get him more touches. His stats are REDIC
“ Dauphine, a Texas Tech transfer, led Tulane running backs with 575 yards and seven touchdowns while averaging 8.0 yards per carry in 2019. “

Clearly we can all agree that this is a way to early poll and that this really has not merit what so ever!!!
