I think Queen is one of the top 5 players in the WAC. However, his injury caused him to sit out games. And, since his return, his WAC stats have dropped off. All his impressive stats were front loaded in the OOC schedule.

I also think Aurrecochea is the most complete big man (offense and defense) in the WAC but Dejon Davis leads the WAC in rebounding by a wide margin (9.9 rpg). As of late, he has been putting up eye popping numbers; posting 21 points & 16 rebounds against Utah Valley; and 31 points & 15 rebounds against Seattle U; and being selected WAC Player of the Week for last week's performance.

I think you did a very good job with this. I agree, Queen is probably a top five player in the WAC, but the numbers are not there. I think Jans is an excellent coach and if he wins the Coach of the Year again, I don't see how anyone could argue with that. Now, if NMSU loses to CBU tomorrow night, then I think an argument can be made for Croy. But at 16-0, he should win it.

It's crazy that the WAC POTY award will go to a team that finished 5-6 games behind New Mexico State. That is why the conference is a JOKE. NMSU needs to get out.

If Milan Acquaah wins the POTY award, he deserves it. He carried CBU much of the year. And, although NMSU has proven to be a much better team (with no dominant score), CBU has done a very good job in their second D1 season (21-9, so far). Also, Acquaah is no slouch talent wise. He was a 3-star player out of HS and transferred to CBU from Washington State. On a side note, already another former Washington State player (Malachi Flynn) won the POTY in the MWC this year.
