Personally, I really enjoy sitting in my driveway with a beer in hand, a fire pit beside me, the TV in my garage tuned into the Cats, while I'm handing out candy to the little tykes, and offering a beer to a chaperoning parent who asks me "What's the score?"
Just like I did in 2014 when UC beat Tulane behind Munchie Legaux three touchdowns and Rod Moore and Mike Boone both rushed for over 100 yards.
And like I did in 2009 when Zach Collaros beat Syracuse by connecting on 22 of 28 pass attempts for 295 yards and a career high four touchdown passes.
2009 Syracuse was a nice noon game. Early trick or treat. It was a fun night out in Syracuse, NY though. Everyone dressed for halloween.
I remember watching in my garage one night Zach tearing it up against someone. I thought for sure it was that night. Cuz I remember some stranger walking into my garage and commenting on him having a hell of game. But it could have been some random night game, and some random stranger. He was fun to watch though.

So UC football gets pushed to friday night.
No they don't. That's an away game at Salt Lake. No conflicts with FCC. No excuse for the AP and WMU games being on weeknights.

Only reason I remember the Cuse game was at noon is my friend and I drove overnight to Syracuse. We parked at the hotel about 4:30 a.m., napped in the car for 3 hours then went to the tailgate. Briefly went back and checked in after the game then went out until about 2:00 a.m. Hell of a day.

It seems UC likes having the opener on a Thursday and having a couple extra days to prepare for the second game.
The Friday game is undoubtedly dictated by ESPN. Against I'd bet it's going to be on ESPN or ESPN2.

RE: AAC Football 2020 Schedule Announcement 2PM
Just read this thread after a busy week of work. Its hysterical. Hand wringing and gnashing of teeth was so prevalent when CLF was headed to Sparty. He stayed - which is almost as surprising as a Perfect Season - and people are still complaining about what day games are scheduled.
I will be at all of them and roadies at Miami, Nebraska, and UCF for sure.

The AP game is probably Thursday since students are more likely to be there vs. Labor Day Saturday. Still don't like it and wish they'd rid themselves of FCS opponents, but it's hard to get a good OOC team to come here early.
If the Friday game is on ESPN or ESPN2, then that's good exposure. If it's the U or CBS Sports, give me a Saturday game.
