Who determines 9/3 Thurs v AP - SUCKS

9/11 Friday v WMU SUCKS because HS Friday Night Lights

11/12 Thurs v ECU - SUCKS

We can blame AAC for Thursday ECU but who do we blame for AP Thurs and WMU on Friday?

I wondered if sharing Nippert with FC Cincy is affecting our home football scheduling as FC will be in season in September. Would be curious to see if the Saturdays that UC is pushed to thursdays or fridays are home games for FC Cincy.

Just checked and FC Cincy has a home game on SATURDAY 9/12.
So UC football gets pushed to friday night.

I like the Thursday opener, but all Friday college games should be banned.

You have an athletic department that is a RENTER in their OWN HOME.

That is sick.

I’ve been seeing a lot of people post on social media for people to get over the dates and “just show up”. Here’s the deal: if we are being honest 2/3rds of the stadium are students and the same core of people that have been showing up to Nippert for years now. There just aren’t enough people in our fan base who would replace some of that 2/3rd if they can’t show because they have a conflict with the schedule. Halloween is a massive deal for people with kids.

I realize it is cool-hearty to compare us to OSU, but when OSU has inconvenient dates their fan base is so massive that is when people who normally do not go to games snatch up tickets from someone selling their tickets. Our fan base just isn’t there to do that.

All time attendance record in 2019 and growing with Fickell staying for another year.😎

Only a segment of uc fans could turn the exciting announcement of our 2020 schedule into another excuse to complain FCC. This thread is hilarious.

That Friday night game is likely espn or espn 2 without much competition. It's good for the program to have one.

In my view the limit on weeknight games should be 2 per season unless a team has 7 home games. The FC Cincinnati frustration is well placed if it forces the Bearcats off Saturday. Can’t wait to see them move out of Nippert. I am shocked how they went from the little engine that could to a joke so quickly.

Even with little kids, the Halloween date is what it is for every schools because it’s a Saturday.

The only game I'm annoyed by is Austin peay on a Thursday. I don't get why we keep playing an fcs team on a Thursday to open.

Btw FCC is in Salt Lake City that Saturday after the western Michigan game but don't let that ruin a good fan narrative.

So, let me get this straight. Fickell is rethinking his decision, we need to move a Halloween game that might be the biggest match up in Nippert in years, and an extra night game (which students love!) should be moved because of high school football. Did I miss anything?
