I am at the point that whenever I see him go 1on1 I expect him to get a TO.

That spin move is there most plays if the defender didn't have help.

Issue is there is always help because he isn't a threat to pass.

I'm more concerned about him losing the dribble even without help defenders.

His one/one is actually very decent, above average for his frame (reason for his NBA prospectus), It's actually his one on 5 play that get's the team and himself into precarious situations...... 03-banghead

7 mins gone by in the Houston game and the guards haven't gotten it to Precious. Instead a sidestep airball 3 by Harris....

yep and he has made several cuts that had him wide open if someone would actually pass the ball.

Tyler doesn't know how to run a fastbreak with a big.

His pass attempts always ends in a turnover. Gave it to Precious before making the defender commit to the dribbler. Tyler is best shooting versus setting up others

Best play of the game was precious driving to the goal picking up his dribble and hitting lance for a wide open three

Definitely a very nice read by Precious but I would challenge best play of the game by the two late assists from Baugh to Malcolm as the best plays of the game, specifically passing.

When he posts up while sealing his man and presents his hand to receive the ball, the guards often times decide to keep swinging it around the perimeter.... Precious continues to seal, rotates to be able to receive the pass still and again no entry pass.

He's learned that the guards aren't gifted in doing that so now he keeps it when he gets it. Can't blame him for that.

This thread holds true this season as well.

Precious over came the shortcomings of the pgs (no telling how good he'd looked playing alongside a real stud at pg at Memphis).

Precious played within the system initially but when the pgs where unable to perform a single entry pass even after he'd sealed his man, Precious went to Pan B. Push the ball up court and initiate his own offense. Seemed to have worked out well for him meanwhile Memphis is still struggling to get the ball inside or to make a proper alley oop pass..... 07-coffee3

I have said it many times.. Cisse is fighting hard for his spot and when he gets it, they dont pass to him. He is left open way too much.. Now, I am not sure he would actually make the shot, since his offense is so limited, but you have to reward your big man for fighting for his place. No other position requires as much physical exertion to get their offense.

If they get it to him soon as he flashes open in the paint his chances of converting are high.... when they wait til the defense has recovered to him, his chances are low.

Pgs gotta be able to get the ball the players promptly when said players flash and are in the best position to score..
