My mistake, you said Houston, Memphis and Wichita have no business being in the Top 25...Because they don't have a top 20 KenPom win?

The 2018 Bearcats were easily a top 10, if not top 5 team. And yet, we didn't land a top 20 Ken Pom win until we beat Houston in the conference tournament finals.

That's not true. We had already beaten top 20 Houston. But Houston was the only top 20 kenpom team UC beat. Wichita finished 21 but was top 20 most the year.

He was clearly talking about 17-18 because UC was a top 5 kenpom team.

Last year UC wasn't a top 20 team. You are correct though about 18-19.

Yeah, I'm getting my years mixed up. Sorry, the 17-18 Bearcats team DID beat Houston at home (that was the game we fell behind big early and rallied just before half). So we did have 1 regular season top 20 win, and it wasn't until Jan 31st against a conference mate. Which still proves my point that it's a rediculous standard you're holding the top 3 teams to. They're not elite. They're not top 15, probably. But they are, at least, borderline top 25, and that's not too different than past years in the American.
