Depends on how the new President views the international and online mission. The stronger the GT offerings in the former the less it makes sense.

Looking forward to continuing Turner Field's proud legacy of visiting teams winning when it matters. :)

I don't think Georgia State will sell out their allotment in the Upper North at Bobby Dodd Stadium. And I don't think the demand is high enough for fans to fill out the 1st base side stands at Turner Field because the view is terrabad. It should however draw much better than what both teams schedule in their normal OOC potluck, particularly for Georgia State at Turner Field.

I get that you hate this match up but come on. LOL.

Also by 2026 neither current head coach will b there and assuredly GSU Stadium will not look the same.

Would you be interested in a signature bet on this?

Define -- precisely -- what GSU's stadium not looking the same entails. If it's a new coat of paint and vinyl banners you're not foolin' anybody.

After our games with them, I was hoping we'd do the same, it just never happened. I think our AD was more worried about money games than bringing in a P5 to Paulson. Hopefully that changes with the new AD.

Should be an easy sellout at both stadiums.

I'm guessing you haven't seen either of those teams home attendance.

You going to take over their stadium like you took over ours?

I have friends that haven't been to a game or that hasn't been since the first texting me about this. One of our buddies who was a season ticket holder, but he has since moved to California text me, "put it on the calendar. That is worth coming back for."

As long as we aren't a 1 win team the year prior or get killed by 60 points the 1st game, I think both sides will be quite happy with the attendance.

Wow. Youre really not feeling well about this.

The East Side of GSU has not even been touched for renovation. This was a five phase project from the beginning. But whatever dude. Your silly dream of absorbing our 53k students (lol) as your liberal arts school is still... silly.

Have been texted since it was announced by GSU and GT grads. There are people who do not go to games for either program who will attend both of these games.

I get that yall basically started as Tech's little brother, but that won't really draw a lot of people to the game just because of "History". The fact that your campuses are a 15 minute jog apart is what will draw fans purely on the fact that it's a 7th home game for Tech.

In terms of a P5 scheduling, this is absolutely a home run for State. And I don't want to get into (yet another) attendance pissing match, but as mentioned above, it "should" be a sell out, and anything less than that would reflect poorly on the state of both programs. (I'm talking butts in seats, not "we had 17k show up for ULM" math.)

He's just mad that GS couldn't even schedule Vanderbilt to play at Paulson.

This is good for the state for sure.

GT getting Alabama at home is a big deal too.

Tech has very few if any sellouts for non-UGA opponents over a course of many, many years, yet Georgia State is going to bring about a sellout? Yes, you're right, it's gotta just be haters hating.
