No. The "lowly" part only applies to the Temples and Baylors of the world.

UC will never get added to the current B12 because Oklahoma and Texas will never share their conference penthouse with anyone else... which they would obviously have to do with us.

American Conference Championships
Temple: 1
Cincinnati: 0

I believe it's actually 1 each.

UCF 4 (2013, 2014*, 2017, 2018)
Memphis 2 (2014*, 2019)
Temple 1 (2016)
Houston 1 (2015)
Cincy 1 (2014*)

Baylor is where Temple level American conference champion coaches go.

American Conference Championships
Temple: 1 (won by winning the division and championship game)
Cincinnati: 1 (won in a multi-team tie with no championship game and did not get the BCS game invite)

Is that better?

The timing of Luke Kuechly's retirement is very suspect to me. I get the concussions, but I wonder if he also decided he didn't really want to play for Rhule. Yes, I'm speculating, wildly speculating.

If rumors are true that the Panthers are going to go into complete rebuild mode that that certainly might have played into his decision but I also think this is something he's been contemplating for a while.

That would be a college move, not a pro move. I take him at his word, his health is his main concern. We are seeing more often now players retiring in their prime. Football takes a huge toll on the body.

Of course he's not going to come out and blame the new coach for his decision that would be Busch league, but it has to figure into the timing of his decision.

That's quite a statement you're making.

I did say speculating.

As I watch Rhule put his staff together, I am deeply worried about the lack of NFL coaching experience. Don’t take a bad team worse, Coach!
