Redshirting is a great option for a lot of these guys. Tre's career will be remembered much differently now than it would have it he had finished last year and he's well on his way to a Master's degree which will look good if he decides he wants to get into coaching. With his personality though I would almost rather see him on the media end after his overseas playing days are over.

I don't care if we are the #1 seed or not. I do want to be in the other half of the bracket than Houston, and for that I think we need Wichita State to beat Tulsa and we need to beat Temple.

Yep, i thought this was the case. Crazy year. I just wonder if Houston beats Memphis. I think that's at Memphis right? Not an easy game.

Yeah. If Uc ends up being the 2 then Houston will be the three. And if UC ends up being the 3 then houston will be the 2.

Not sure Wichita can beat Tulsa at home, they suck lately with exception of their 25 point run against SMU

Are you sure? I believe the first tiebreaker is overall record. So we can be co-champions but we are locked pretty much as a three seed in a three way tie. Best would be a two seed if we win and Memphis beats Houston. We do not want that scenario; I think we want Houston as the one seed so we would not possibly face them before the championship.

I think it's important to avoid certain matchups. I think Memphis is an awful matchup for us. Their athleticism up front is a really bad fit for Vogt and we don't have the depth to limit his minutes. I think we match up better with teams that have true bigs because Vogt is good when he can defend against size and strength vs. trying to guard athletes.

Can’t imagine it would be overall record. That would punish teams for playing a hard non conference schedule
