He's only scored 27 points so far. What a bum, LOL.

I believe I wrote before the season commenced that Erik Stevenson was not a good player last season. His stats from last season back that up. averaged only 6.5 ppg, shot only 41.5 percent on 2’s, and and a woeful 27.8 percent on 3’s, and has excessively fouled opponents. Hardly qualifies as a good player. Pesik, if you think those his stats show him to be a good a good player, I’m not surprised.

Last season Burton averaged 6 ppg, shot 42 percent on 2’s, only 26.3 percent on 3’s. Burton is shooting 53 percent at the foul l-line this year. Needs to do better. Not exactly stellar numbers.still not impressed by those numbers.

Nice that they both improved this season. Sure if they hadn’t Etienne and Sherfield would both be playing more than they are.

Miggy wouldn’t listen to us (WSU fans)earlier when he was trashing our team. I tried to tell you that Eric and Burton were not good (our team sucked early) early last year. But we were a solid team the 2nd half of the year and during the NIT run we were pretty good. Our young zFreshmen probably improved the most. I just didn’t foresee Dexter Dennis struggling like he is.

Either way, UC really couldn't afford to drop one like this. It's hard to see them putting together a consistent string of wins with the kind of inconsistency they are showing from game to game.

May be a look toward the future kind of year.

I hate the call. Nobody knows what a charge is. I feel like it should default to a block unless it’s clear and obvious. Sliding in front of a ball handler is not defending the ball.

If that were true, then every player would bullrush into the lane and draw automatic contact. You could literally do it every time down the floor. Sometimes it seems like it's possible for defenders to play defense unless they backpedal away from the opponent and just let them score. You gotta give it both ways.

I do find it slightly ironic that a fan of a program that was known for some stingy tough man defense is now complaining about charge calls.

We have two plays in college basketball. Drive into the lane and get to the rim (against three trees), or drive into the lane and kick it out for a three. Nobody pulls up and shoots a ten footer anymore. Not in control at least.

floater? Does anyone do that anymore?

Agreed. It sucks. I hate all of the metric bull****. Just play the damn game. The mid-range game is a very underrated asset. I can't watch the NBA anymore cuz all it is a long range HORSE contest. The college game is slowly turning into that too.
