That makes sense, but it’s more intriguing to watch in-state schools play for state bragging rights in a bowl game. Clearly, UCF would have prevailed, but it would have been more interesting to watch than FAU vs SMU.

Well according to FAU fans the conference champ which they are gets to pick whatever bowl is attached to the conference. They chose the Boca Raton Bowl because they knew their fans don't travel. They didn't want to embarrass themselves by having a small crowd of fans travel to the bowl.

I could care less what a fan said. A Saturday game on ABC is a much better game than Monday afternoon on ESPN. Props to UCF, they beat us soundly, but we also beat the break of the ponies and proved we play hard on a national stage.

Honestly I’m loving shere khan’s mental breakdown. All that talking he does... they better show up vs Penn State.
