Go Knights!

The UCF/Marshall series is 8-3 in favor of UCF. We were conference mates in both the MAC and C-USA 2.0

This kickoff time really sucks, middle of the day on a Monday.

2:30pm Eastern/1:30pm central kick.

Central Florida comes in at 9-3, with Marshall clocking in at 8-4. Both teams contended for their respective conference title, but fell short of their division championship.

Marshall has run hot-and-cold showing moments of brilliance, mixed in with the occasional bad loss. UCF seemed to just be overwhelmed by the rest of the AAC catching up to their level. They will no doubt contend for the title next year.

Vegas likes the Knights in a big way (-15.0)
In post-season bowls, the AAC sits at 0-1 this year and 1-7 all-time against Marshall’s Conference, located in the United States of America.
Surely today is the day that AAC notches it’s second win in that category.

UCF will be without a few folks who’ve already begun resting up for the NFL draft. So it’ll be next man up!

It should be a fine exhibition tuneup for the real bowls, which don’t start until next week.

This is going to play out one of two ways... 4TD spanking, or down to the wire. I have a feeling it’ll be a spanking, but not sure who will be the spanker and who the spankee.

Didn’t see your thread originally but I’m deleting mine.

Sure, there are better times to play football...
But is there really a BAD time to play football? No. There is not.

Let the game commence!

Win or lose, this game doesn't matter. Knight fans have already chalked up this season as a disappointment, the gasp bowl wont change opinions. Some of our skill position players will be sitting out this game. This game is so close to early signing day, I wonder how much the coaches really prepared for this.

I hope the players are dialed into this game because the fan base has most definitely checked out.

I personally am looking forward to the game vs Marshall but know most in my group could not care less.

Hopefully, we can end their winning streak but if not its not the end of world. As ppl said not the best opponent and time but hopefully the team can rise above and play good football.

I hope we take this game seriously because Marshall is. We were developing a good rivalry before we split up. I wish Davis and Killins were playing.

Stop with the Pre Game Excuses, wait until you see the results. If you lose then you can make up the BS excuses, but just wait till after the game. I’m excited for the game I think if we win we should declare ourselves NATIONAL CHAMPIONS, hang a banner, have the parade etc...

American fans from other teams in our conference love to point out that Temple had the only G4 loss this season to Buffalo (while omitting we own 2 of the 6 P5 wins). But Temple owns the 1 bowl win over CUSA against FIU.
As for UCF fans being elitist about this game: get over yourselves. That disinterested bull$hit doesn’t fly.

I know ECU and Marshall have history with the tragic plane crash in 1970 and all, and we will always have a special bond because of that.

That said... since Doc Holliday has taken over in Huntington, Marshall has produced some of the dirtiest, least disciplined, incredibly athletic, most disrespectful football teams I have ever seen.

F Marshall. Kick their ass, Knights.

The NCAA officially recognizes their national championship because they were #1 in the final Colley Matrix ranking. This may be uncomfortable for some to believe but they are a more legitimate national champion based on that than the CFP invitational winner.

So I guess we finally can admit that Auburn was also not motivated to play us.

Yet not quite as sad as your old, retreaded joke.

And yes, UCF fans need to GTFO with those motivation excuses. We play the game with the players we have available. If the team comes out flat, that’s a Huep problem.

yup no G5 win against a P5 even matters because they just weren't motivated.

it's lame when they spout that elitist nonsense and worse when we do.

As I said, it may be uncomfortable to acknowledge for some, but it's in the NCAA record book for 2017 recorded as a legitimate national championship. It's there, I've read it myself.
