Today is trade day
Will the Grizz make any moves?

Gotta figure Iggy is gone somewhere.

Rumored trades include Jonas, Jae, and a few more.

I personally hope we keep Jonas until we get Wiseman but it may be necessary to move him to keep our pick.

Anybody have any info on what the Grizzlies are thinking?

Is Dillon Brooks expendable? Kinda doubtful after the Oubre debacle but who knows.

Are the Grizz going to tank this season hoping to land JW, Edwards or Carey?

Not Jonas, no way

GLeague star Josh Jackson should be a carrot to dangle

Iggy is obvious I hear alot about Jae Crowder also being moved, Josh Jackson? Who knows, when they called him out recently for poor behavior, that had to lower his trade value, yet they did it anyway. this tells me that they are trying to rehab him not market him...

I think this year is a moderate tank situation regardless of trade moves ,, another high draft pick could be the difference in making the playoffs and making the Finals.

Agree with you there 100%. Thought it was interesting Crowder didn't dress lastr night because of 'sore ankles'. Maybe he does, I don't know. I do know starting tomorrow night we've got four games in the next six days so we need healthy bodies.

Jae's value to the locker room is underrated.

I would go for these:

1. New York Knicks receive: Josh Jackson, 2022 2nd round pick (least favorable between Detroit and Chicago), 2023 2nd rounder via Dallas or Miami
Memphis Grizzlies receive: Wayne Ellington, 2023 1st round pick (via Dallas)

2. Miami Heat receives: Andre Iguodala, 2021 2nd round pick (via Portland)
Memphis Grizzlies receive: Duncan Robinson, James Johnson

3. Chicago Bulls receive: Solomon Hill
Memphis Grizzlies receive: Cristiano Felicio, 2022 1st round pick from Chicago (Lottery protected in 2022, protected 1-6 in 2023, converts to two 2nd round picks (2024 and 2026) if not conveyed by 2023 draft)

Hard pass on this one because not enough value.

Denver Nuggets receive: Jae Crowder, Grayson Allen, 2023 2nd round pick via Memphis, 2024 2nd round pick via Toronto
Memphis Grizzlies receive: Jerami Grant, Malik Beasley

I like the idea of getting our pick back but dang we can't take on 7 players without cutting over half of them. If we can ditch Hill or Crowder and Iggy is gone, that only opens up 2 spots. Maybe we cut Bruno and that's a 3rd spot.

That trade scenario makes zero sense for Boston and IMO doesn't get them any closer to winning a title.

I agree, but it works out pretty good for us.

Still looks like Dallas is the team

Yeah, Dallas or the Clippers unless some team gets really desperate. I have been reading that he is the most coveted player on the trade market. We can probably get a first round pick for him but it would be a late pick. If we somehow managed to get the Boston pick back we need to start the tanking.

Oubre for Tyus Jones, Kyle Anderson and a 1st.

I think Oubre would really fit in here.

Why would Phoenix do that?

I'm glad the Grizz have finally called up Josh Jackson. Let's see what he can do. I'm sorry Grayson Allen is out awhile. He was really rounding into form.

They are young and deep at that position, and need a backup to Rubio. Anderson is a very effective player as well. Plus they get a 1st, it's one of the top three specualed Grizzy trade possibilities.
