I noticed the same. She used to stand the entire game and be the loudest person in the room. Makes you wonder what her mindset is currently. I hope we are reading too much into it but it is odd.
I think it’s exciting at the direction this team is headed but it’s still sobering to be reminded how far we have to go to be relevant. Not even close.

I have also noticed she is sitting. I can still hear her coaching, but the volume and intensity is not what it was. I didn't hear the game on the radio so don't know if she had any post-game comments. Did anyone hear any comments? Was the game even on the radio?
We have a chance to pick up three wins this week and quickly turn things around. Fingers crossed.

VCU is not a good team. This was very disappointing, especially in the WAY we lost.
However, it is just one game.

Can't get a lay-up in the first half. In the second half we were ice cold from beyond the arc. (0-for7 in the 3rd quarter, 2-for-11 in the 4th quarter)
Anne Donovan Classic tournament next up. Three teams in a round robin style format. As a fan, this is the kind of thing that should be supported. Honoring the legacy of one of the best to ever play the game.

The 1st qtr was crazy how the lid was on our basket. VCU a team that doesn't shoot well from the three, did pretty well. VCU was 6-14 for 43% and ODU was 6-26 for 23%. They made the same number of 3s with 12 less shots. Hope we can put it behind us and move forward.

This is the third game I have seen the ladies play in person this year. Against Campbell, we looked bad. But, first game of the year, I gave them a pass, plus we won.
I drove to Charlottesville to see them beat UVA. A below average UVA. We played absolutely horrible. It was a very winnable game, if we had just played half way decent. Lazy passing, missed layups, on and on. Bad loss.
Stupid me, I then decided to drive down to Richmond to see them hopefully beat an average VCU team. Damn, I wasted my time and money again. Just atrocious. I truly think they are digressing. I thought they looked blah. Maybe exams kicked their butt, cause VCU was the more aggressive team. Way too many turnovers, poor shooting, poor decision making, etc. Even the officials were against us today. Where in the heck does the league find these idiots?
I may be a little critical, but I thought the Coach has had enough time to straighten these issues out by now. Not by a long shot. I still think she was the correct hire, but I didn’t see any energy or urgency from her or the players. As others said, she sat on the bench the whole game. Wtf?
These were 2 rivalry games we should have won, but lost both with extremely poor play. Very very disappointing.
