Come on.. the man wants the job, of course he’s saying these things. If he does well here, he’ll get offers from P5 schools just like Fuente and Norvell. If you don’t think he’ll leave for greener pastures, you have to be naive. He’d be stupid not to. And I won’t have a problem with it all, just like the last two coaches that used Memphis as a stepping stone. It’s a good problem to have. It means the coach is winning here. The alternative is the coaching graveyard it’s been in the past. It’s ok being the stepping stone.

He has had chances to move to other P5 jobs and hasn't. Whether or not he ends up staying forever is one thing. What you are saying makes ZERO sense. He has at least earned the benefit of the doubt through his actions up to this point.
