Just don’t think our Defense can get it done, and think our offense will have limited touches. But I still am hopeful we pull the upset. GSU is a very tough and talented opponent.

Regardless, I am thrilled with our season and the fact we are able to play in a bowl game.

Georgia Southern is bringing its touchdown howitzer cannon to the Cure Bowl

They aren't allowed to fire it, but it will be on the sideline with the Eagles.

The C-130 that's bringing it will also be doing a flyover of Exploria Stadium during pregame. It was supposed to to a flyover of Paulson on military appreciation day, but due to the weather it had to cancel.

it's being reported that GS has sold the most tickets for this game since UCF was in it.

Also, I hate it we publicly set the goal for 8k tickets that we were not realistically going to be able to meet. Makes us look bad.

It doesn't make us look bad. Probably not many people outside our fanbase knew that was our goal. And, it's better to set a higher goal anyways, even if it's a little out of reach. Aim high!

I think we’ll still have around 8k there. Most of the younger people I’ve talked elected to go after the $15 tickets on stubhub rather than the $35-$45 tickets that our ticket office was selling. It doesn’t help our ticket office but we will still have a large crowd there.

A must win game for continuity of the program. Liberty is probably the third worst team we have played this season.
