LOL...it worked out great for the Chadster. He's got the hammer down in the fast lane all the way to the bank. Who else did it go well for? That highway is littered with two pissed off fanbases. One program is at an al time low and the other is crawling back into relevance. I sincerely hope that doesn't happen to USF. Sorry for Memphis to lose their guy too...but we are the stepping stone conference. The Morris debacle ought to make a smart guy think twice.

It appears it did...at least at Arkansas anyway...though not quite the spectacle as the last TN coaching search. Kiffen at Ole Miss will be entertaining to say the least.

How many offensive coordinators does Clemson have? He may be great, but feels like Dwight Schrute, Assistant to the Regional Manager.

WE officially have a hickup... both sides havent agreed to the deal. Still working on it. This could get interesting. It was said last night that it was done. So much so that a meeting had been called, and then it was cancelled. Out of the blue, a reporter is saying that there is still ongoing negotiations, and a friend mentioned that a late entry may have happened to get Scott which is making things harder to get done.

If USF doesnt get Scott, I have no idea where they go from here.

Good hire. Hiring good offensive coordinators has worked for us.

apparently the assistant pool is in negotiation, plus commitment to facilities.... some people are saying its a done deal, but people who work in the building are saying it isnt done yet.

They took a chance on Kiffin and that worked out while he rehabilitated his image. With the money FSU is paying Taggart FAU might be able to get him cheap for a few years.

The great unknown is how well he can recruit to a place like USF, and more importantly, how well can he evaluate the diamonds in the rough. Hiring a coordinator from a top program doesn't always translate, because you or I could recruit 3 stars to a Clemson (or Georgia, or Alabama).

I'm optimistic, but I'm still scarred from the Orlando Antigua debacle in basketball.

Left behind is a bit strong for a team that had 10 wins in back to back season 2016 and 2017, along with P5 wins in both our bowls.

People act like our program is dead after 2 down years. Fawk

Left behind, LOL. Just 2 and 3 years ago we won 11 and 10 games and were running up and down the field on AAC teams making them look like JV squads. Heck, we blew out UCF 2 years in a row, and also scored 52 points on Memphis in a win. We scored over 50 points in a half against Cincinnati. We didn't make a bowl in one year, this year, same as Houston. There is plenty of Florida talent for USF to win 10 plus games again fast.

He was the top assistant coach for head coach for many FSU fans which included Brent Venables Clemson’s DC.
