Does an alumi fan base that actually shows up for away football games exist? I go to every home and away football game with 2 of my buddies from Richmond/Williamsburg area and 95 percent of all away fans are family members of the team.

Please give me every away game that I can drive to.

Who compared membership in the current configuration of the CAA to the Southern Conference before you brought it up? Certainly that's not what my comment does. It talks about the Southern as an alternative vis-a-vis a CAA without Delaware and JMU leaving Towson and Elon as our closest geographic rivals that play all of their major sports in the CAA or the specter of downgrading to the Patriot League.

All things considered, I'd rather be in the A-10, with CAA football which has better proximity to the fanbase and athletic profile than the current CAA, but don't see that happening.
