The Rock is only getting better. Next time you come back we'll have the end zone facility open, new turf, and no remnants of the track. Congrats on your first win in Boone since 2007.
Thanks! Congrats on being 0-2 against us and the upcoming drop in rankings next week

Appys walking around pouting like someone took your last Oreo, and not a traditional Oreo. A limited edition Oreo or seasonal Oreo they’re gonna take off the shelves for another year. Hey appys did the eagles take your last Halloween Oreo? You didn’t get a chance to say good bye to that delicious orange creme filling? What about you Deano? Did the southern defense take away your top 25 ranking for the year? Well bad news those have been discontinued

I had a blast this weekend hanging out with friends, enjoying the beauty of my campus, Again I didn't expect any sportsmanship from you, but this will be lost on you. See you next year.

Houston going to a NY6 this year?
Always makes me laugh when someone's team is so bad they have to resort to pumping up their conference. Even when they're contributing negatively to that conference.
Look at the game on ABC right now in front of a sold out 60k. Also know that will never ever be a sunbelt game.
Also let me know when App State makes it to an NY6 Bowl. At least we've actually been and won.

Interesting quip, considering App has only three wins at Paulson over that same period (to our two at KBS). It was a good game between two good teams. The thing about it is that most any team can beat a G5 opponent on a given day. That's just how it is. That's what makes it interesting.

Humility ? You may want to read the first 28 pages of this thread as a good dose of it.
That said, we just dropped a dump truck load of it in KBS track station up on the rock so there’s plenty to go round !

Not game related, but relevant...
Anyone who ever travels to Boone and has any car trouble should look for K&S Towing and Local's garage. I rented a cabin on top of a mountain and - due to all the rain and leaves on the ground - couldn't get out of a steep driveway. Some locals towed me out, but a strap snapped in the process and blew out a brake hose. I made it down that mountain and into Boone to make the game, but had to abandon my car in a parking lot. I had intended to leave Friday and K&S Towing understood the situation and got me to the garage ASAP.
Local's found the problem right away, but didn't have the necessary part. They tracked one down in Charlotte and did their best to find someone to bring it, but couldn't get it to the shop any sooner than Saturday morning. They're closed on Saturday - which meant I would be stuck in town til Monday - but the garage owner offered to come in on Saturday to get me back on the road. Above and beyond service from both.
When I picked up the car yesterday, the owner asked what I had been in town for. I told him I had been in town for the game and was headed back to Statesboro. His face winced up a little and I told him that I when I saw how hard everyone was trying to help me out, I decided it was in my best interest to keep that information secret.

The leaves all fell so quickly it was difficult to see the road in many places. I had to use 4WD to get to my house just due to the inches of wet leaves.

Yeah. I got up the mountain without any issue, but the driveway wasn't gravel, so I was dealing with a grass driveway that was full of ruts and tons of wet leaves. My normal vehicle is a Tahoe with 4WD that would have handled it easily, but I took my wife's vehicle since it gets double the gas mileage. Ironically, the vehicle that couldn't handle the grassy driveway was a Terrain.
