I got to admit, I'm a little torn on this move. I like that a great UNT booster is stepping up and sponsoring the conference championship game. I think it helps North Texas create a stronger bond with the conference. But, I'd have also liked it if he'd have donated the cash to North Texas.

I don't care if he's president of the Mean Green Club. I appreciate his money sponsoring this crap-tastic conference. We need 100 more like him.

You wait I bet here soon a Ryan's Toy Review Bowl will happen matching a AAC team vs a CUSA Team played at the Wal Mart HQ. We would lose that one also but hey we get those eggs they bust open with toys in it as bowl gifts.

I think his confidence is a bit lower now.

I know people out here need to put up money or be quiet, but as one of the eastern most schools, it sucks how texas based this league has become. It's absurd that our league championship in hoops is in one of the polar ends of our league every single year, and many of the traditionally better basketball programs are in the other side of the league.

I thought it was Ryan Air. Thanks for the money I guess. They could cancel the whole thing as far as Im concerned. Texas may as well be in Europe when you live in the mid-Atlantic.

My guess it is a lot easier and cheaper to get to DFW area from Charlotte than the opposite.
