The replay official made an assumption that the ground caused the ball to move. I too can make a few assumptions. Memphis will win the Conference. Boise will drop a game this year but end up ahead of Memphis, thus costing the conference the access bowl slot and millions of dollars.

That's what us mortals refer to as a "WTF!?" loss, that we know is coming each season, we just can't figure exactly to whom or to what degree to pencil it on the schedule.

No, they'll mess up a couple of top teams in conference each year as they always do, and turn around and lose to Buffalo and The Nevada state Institute of hairdressers. They just screw it up for the whole conference. Themselves and everyone else.
Boyzee to the NY6.
Temple, you need to win this thing. Quit playing the spoiler roll. I promise I'll root for you. Don't die on the vine against ECU, USF, or Uconn.

Spoiler? Temple has more conference championships than Memphis (1, vs 1 split three ways for Memphis) and I believe has the best conference record overall since we went to a divisional format.

We lost it fair and square. "He's like a piece of Iron." I think that was Rocky IV with Dolph Lungren. But nevertheless, Temple walked away with Philly Gloves in the air.

I believe Buffalo was actually ranked last year at one point, either when they were 8-1 or 9-2. They beat Temple last year (much closer game) and Rutgers. At the beginning of the year some thought Buffalo might be good again this year. They are not good, so no excuses.

Buffalo was a bad loss. We were outplayed and outcoached. Since then Temple has proven to be pretty good and Buffalo not so much. So it remains a bad loss. The year we won the American we opened by losing badly to Army. Hey, we’re not Ohio State, what can I say.

Memphis was a 5.5 point favorite. Maryland was an 8 point favorite.

Well, it's settled. Golf Digest is the authority on college football.
Is ESPN a better source?
On fourth-and-9 from the Temple 43 with 2:46 to play, Memphis quarterback Brady White heaved a pass for Joey Magnifico. Officials on the field ruled the pass a catch, but upon replay review, the call was overturned. Magnifico appeared to bobble the ball before he controlled it, but there was no clear view that it hit the ground.
https://www.espn.com.au/college-football...le-db-says
Temple played well enough to win the game but Memphis should have had a chance to win it in the end. There are no guarantees Memphis would have scored but they made a play to at least have a shot. The officials in this league are garbage. BTW, Memphis has been the beneficiary on occasion as well, most notably against Cincinnati several years ago when the refs used replay and still botched it up.

You know, I support factual HONEST postings in rebuttal to a Tiger fan, but this is egregious. One of our "CO-champions" from that year (2014), we didn't even play, and the other (Cincinnati) we beat FORTY ONE TO FOURTEEN. .... ON THEIR HOME FIELD.
Make no mistake, we won the conference that year. Got the full-size trophy to prove it. Got the Bowl win over BYU to prove it. Get that trash outta here.

So now we’re gonna blame it on the scoreboard? I’m sure in your mind it had nothing to do with other games that UCF played. Pssst...................the scoreboard doesn’t lie, but if it makes you sleep better at night you believe whatever it takes.
PS. Wasn’t that the year where our only conference loss was an inexplicable road loss to a terrible Yukon team late in the season where GOL wouldn’t let the team use the heaters on the sideline to stay warm? Obviously if we win that game, we don’t even have this conversation about whose peni............er...........trophy is bigger.

So I guess that means one of your “Co-champions” didn’t get the chance to play you either. That a good thing for Memphis because we all know how Memphis v. UCF games end.
Before you tigers fans get your jimmies rustled, I’m truly just stirring the pot, relax.
