The House should vote on Impeachment Inquiry
Yes or No

I vote Yes, the majority party seems to feel it is warranted, so lets get on with it already

None of the antidemocratic impeachment by decree

RE: The House should vote on Impeachment Inquiry
of course the sane would chose yes....

however, there's a political 'reason' it will never see the floor....

as always, I'll own it if I'm incorrect in prognostication....

RE: The House should vote on Impeachment Inquiry
They want to pretend they are doing impeachment to please their twitter base, while protecting dems in Trump districts.

They’re also afraid of failing on the floor, hence why anytime you hear about a majority favoring impeachment, it’s a majority of *democrats*, not a majority of the House. A majority of dems + 0 republicans + amash is what, 30-35% of the house?

I don't believe there's a cause that will lead GOP Senate to convict, but the way democrats are running this is sleazy, GOP has no ability to mount defense of Trump as long as it's ran as in inquiry.

The WH has said, since an official vote was not taken for an inquiry (basically an inquiry has never been done and it was only brought out when Nancy couldn't get the votes to start impeachment, or that was my understanding please correct me if I'm wrong), they don't have to comply with a damn thing.

XACLY!....however, it provides ye ol' msm more ammo to cry 'chicken little' 'til the cows come home....

toss in the challenged districts in the house where #henceDJT has gained strength, and this my understanding why it won't come to a vote...

President Trump and his team should tell them to go pound sand until they actually make a legit move. He should publicly declare silence on the issue for him and all his men/women on the issue. No tweets, no news shows, no interviews... nothing.

Don't give them more ammo.

Just draw the line in the sand, stay silent until the Dems actually produce something of substance. Then go at them guns blazin'.

They are.. That's why they're drafting the letter and telling them until a vote is held, f*ck off.

RE: The House should vote on Impeachment Inquiry
They've voted about four times already and it never passed.

I think they were hoping all this push might lower Trump's numbers enough to cover the Democrats from Trump states. It's doesn't like it is going to work.

One Congresswoman has already gone public saying she is being pressured to vote for impeachment.

I'm not sure what the exit strategy is, but I don't think this is going to get them enough votes in the House for impeachment. I could be wrong, but without some more logs on the fire I don't think this is going to work.

RE: The House should vote on Impeachment Inquiry
If Trump needs to truly go, then lets get this schidt moving.

If not - GO AWAY

As of right now, this is nothing more than a political dog and pony show to basically neuter the president in case RBG goes before the election. Sadly, they don't have a plan in place to actually win the presidency and therefore are focusing on the wrong things.

Again, give me something to vote for that more than I HATE TRUMP

They have already voted 3 or 4 times and it has failed every time.

If they don't vote again, it means they still don't have the votes.

I would prefer they never vote again. It is the weakest outcome.

But they are pretending to have an impeachment inquiry, including sending out fake subpoenas, without a vote to actually have one.

My premise is either vote and do the deed or shut up

I dont understand how anyone, even the orange man bad team on this board, we oppose put up or shut up. I want to understand the logic

First mistake... equating anything they've done here to logic.

RE: The House should vote on Impeachment Inquiry
It is not in the Constitution for the house to vote on the Inquiry. It is against the Constitution for any leaders from other countries to get involved in our elections, and Trump asking Ukraine, China or other countries to investigate a political rival during election time. Trump is destroying what are forefathers did not want.
