He's not asking them to get involved in any election, he's asking them to check on things going on in their country that we cannot investigate.

The inquiry is not a common thing, but you cannot call an inquiry and issue subpeonas, that is not allowed unless you have a vote.

But they're afraid because it allows the minority party to also bring out their witnesses. Witnesses, they don't want that, especially since Pelosi and we know Biden and their kids are implicated.
