ECU 17 - Temple 27

The lights went out at the stadium with a little over 3 minutes to play in the game.

Temple either mailed this one in or they simply aren't all that good. I was not impressed with either team to be honest. Temple's starting QB can be easily rattled. They have talent, but not nearly as much as I was expecting.

Had this game on my small TV while MM was on the big one... So I couldn't hear the announcers or hear any explanation for what I saw but just watching this game; Temple plays like a team that doesn't care...

While ECU was fired up early. But then they seemed to lose interest as well. Temple will be fired up for us.

The Georgia Southern/South Alabama game was more entertaining.

South Alabama just ran out of gas. You could tell their defense just didn't have anything left in the tank in OT.

I don't think it was a matter of being fired up, I just don't think Temple is as good as they used to be. They were fired up to beat Maryland and didn't look dramatically better, against Buffalo they actually looked worse. IF we can jump on them early, I see very much the same reaction by the team.
