I need some new blue glasses.

I don't know that I agree with top 10 consistently. But it's not too far fetched. The past few years, you could say we've been consistently top 25-30. That is playing in the AAC with a G5 budget. Is it too much of a step to say we could move up in competitiveness with an $EC budget and the advantages that come from recruiting with an SEC calling card?

It might take several years to recruit to compete in the SEC but I believe right off, we'd get most all of the Memphis area recruits that still seem to prefer P5 schools - and that would be to the immediate detriment of OM & UTK. And, of course, that is why we won't ever get an SEC invite. But continuing with this fantasy, after 2-3 years, I think we'd compete in the SEC above UTK, OM, MSST, AR, SC, UK, Vandy - that would put us in the top half of the SEC. And in years with a favorable home schedule against the top half, I think we'd have some divisional games with the div title on the line....and we'd pack the LB consistently.

If we were in the West THIS year I would give us wins over Ole Miss and Arkansas.

That would be losses to Auburn, Alabama, LSU and Texas A&M... Miss. State is toss up depending on where the game is played.

Depending on who our matchups would be in the east would determine if we were top 10.

If we were in the East...We definitely finish top 10.

TAMU and MSU doesn't scare me at all this year. We could easily split those. That would put us 4-4 in the West. Squarely mid-conference. On a G5 budget.
