I will never be confused with a Duke fan, but these Blue Devils are not your father's Oldsmobile. Avg 7.5 wins/season since 2012, 6 bowls in 7 years (winning the last three straight), and ranked 4 times in that strtch. May they all be found dead in a ditch.

Duke FB is definitely not a doormat anymore. If we could get a 2-for-1 in FB with a MBB game as the sweetener, that would be good.

Duke FB is not 2-for-1 good. UNC-Concord got home and home with them. So can ODU. Buy game at Cameron sold separately.

Next step is a mass exodus of players and Fuente will be gone. It might be hard for VT to recover. Oct. will be very interesting for the Hokies. A loss to UVA will be the final nail in his coffin.

The OPTICS of this VT/DUKE game were not good. They hurt my eyes.

At this point, what makes you believe you would find them at VA Tech. Also, Fuentes will be gone long before Wilder will.

Last time I looked at this, and it was a few years ago but I believe The HC compensation at VT is paid entirely with a fund (donations) from the athletic foundation.
That may not be as much of a problem as it might be elsewhere.

What are the odds that Tech lets Fuentes go really soon and bring Beamer back to the finish the season as interim head coach?
