XU and Nova now both 11-7 overall after X wins 69-63 in the Chili City.
St. John's with a quality win over Georgetown.
And a stabilized and moving-forward Creighton now 4-2 in league play (and 11-6 overall) after besting Providence by 20 in Omaha. Creighton has won four of its last five.
Here's a toast back to you bill!

It's not just getting players, but being able to keep good coaches. Seton Hall has had a pretty good run the past ten years or so, but you have to be concerned about their prospects moving forward.
On a side note A.J. Dybantsa signed with BYU for 7 million to go there next year as a freshman. Where does the madness end when the BYU's of the world are paying that kind of money, and how can the Butler's and Seton Hall's keep up, let alone the rest of us?
Yeah I think Seton Hall is another one that you worry about for sure right there with Butler. I think what happened with Kadary Richmond had to be an eye opener for them.
Right. Supposedly Seton Hall made what they felt was a competitive offer to keep Richmond, but obviously it wasn't nearly competitive enough. I've wondered if all things being equal, he would have preferred remaining with The Hall, but couldn't turn down the money.
I've wondered the same thing. He just doesn't look like the same player on SJU. He's best when he's ball dominant like he was with the Hall.
I wonder if he could've improved his stock and been a 2nd rounder had he stayed with SH. I think if he lead them to a tourney birth after leading them to an NIT championship, with his skill set, he would've been looked at favorably by a lot of GMs. Especially if he improved on his numbers from last year, which were already great.
I just feel like he's not fully utilized on a team as deep as SJU
