RE: Damion Baugh
Trying to remember where I saw him and it may have actually been a practice, but I remember thinking he had a high motor and didn't take plays off.

I know he’s supposed to be good defensive player kind of like J. Martin was coming out of high school... Could he have that good of a career?
I don’t know about that but he is much higher ranked coming out of HS. I think he has a chance to be special.
You have it backwards.
Kemp (44) was much higher ranked than Baugh (112).
I hope Baugh is better because Kemp was kind of disappointing based on his ranking.
Kemp was the 6th ranked PG in his class (24/7 composite)
Baugh is the 17th ranked combo guard.

You need to re read this. We were talking about J. Martin.
You’re right. The guy above you was comparing him to Kemp.

If he can score like Brewton, he's going to be a heck of a player. Has better length and much better defensively.
If we are comparing current and future players to Brewton, we're in trouble. There are 100 better players in Tiger history than Brewton or any of Tubby's players, save Jeremiah.
No offense to the kid, but the only Tiger coach in the last 40 years that would have offered him a scholarship was Tubby.

Cursed with potential but burdened with inconsistent motor.

Umm... you might need to take a step back and visit reality. Brewton had offers from most of the SEC, including Auburn - a final four team last year.
He was pretty decently recruited

Of course Martin was not a Tubby player. He was fortunate enough to inherit Martin.

I don’t know, Tic Price had a load of jucos who weren’t as good as Brewton.

Brewton hit big time shots last year and scored the most points against Houston at Houston. He’s not a scrub. He was quite clever with the ball scoring wise

And that really is the point. Baugh is bigger, a better athlete, better defender, younger, faster, much higher ceiling etc.etc.
There are some similarities in how they play, though.
