Who the hell mentioned Charlotte? You read the title of the thread, right? This isn't about CUSA media rankings. This is about the G5 top 10.
Maybe you could read the post above my last one, genius. Also, who the hell asked YOU?
Man, you’re a sensitive lil fella, aren’t you? Anytime anyone disagrees with you or says anything contrary to your opinion about the “mighty” 49ers, you throw a tantrum and resort to name calling. I didn't call you a name. Pretty sad, actually. There is a hotline for your anger issues. But:
If you don't want someone to respond, don't post. I really don’t know why you were posting anyway, it was about the top ten g5. Oh, and this should be about the 5th season you've blathered on and on about how we shouldn’t sleep on Charlotte. Well, keep saying that, perhaps if you live long enough, you might see it realized. Best of luck. I’m sure we will hear the same next year.

Talk about issues......my, you are quite passive aggressive arent you little man......by the way, you took the initial shot. I was replying to the fiu posters comment but you had to jump in with a smart arse comment as usual. You dont like when someone comes back at you huh.

What shot did I take? I said nothing bad at all about Charlotte. I said nothing inflammatory toward you. I merely said that the thread was about the G5 top ten, which it is, and wondered why Charlotte was being mentioned because it is not a g5 top 10 in this poll.
So, not passive aggressive at all and as far as you coming back at me... carry on.

I believe USM will be in that G5 Top 10 at the end of the season. Maybe FIU, Marshall, North Texas, and La Tech will join us. That's 5 out of 10. That'd do.

Clt, i agree. If my fellow Herd fans did that, then that is right ridiculous and sad. No excuse. And i will take yours and the other Charlotte fans word for it. We should respect your campus as we would ours. Even more being guests.

He's still not provided one shred of evidence that 1. this even occurred and 2. that it was Marshall fans and not their own fans. And he's been asked to several times.

It was definitely an isolated incident but campus police got involved when I walked by the creek on the way to the stadium. It was a group of 8 Marshall fans but 2 were wearing Pittsburgh Steelers jerseys). They also tailgated in my lot (Silver Lot) that game and left a huge mess for parking services to clean.
I'm sure the incident is not the norm for Marshall fans as a whole but CLT is living rent free in some people's heads and it's hilarious.

UAB? come on, anyone that spent more than a minute on UAB, would see gaping holes to fill. Those holes start with replacing 4 out of 5 on the OL. When you have a 1200 yard runner that averaged 4.5 ypc, that tells me he got yards that the OL knocked out for him. He had 4 runs of 20+ yards. What this tells me is he's a runner hard to bring down at the LOS but hardly makes it passed the LB's and into the Defensive backfield. So only time will tell if it was the OL knocking holes or running over the D-Line. I personally think it was the OL. You had a OL that practiced together for 3 or 4 years and played together for 2
#1 in CUSA in carries and #15 in average yards per carry
The key factor this person failed to look at and what won the championship for UAB...defense. That defense allowed UAB's to ground and pound on offense. UAB returns 36% of their production on defense and that is dead last in the FBS. And the only number lower than that is UAB's 33% of returning offensive production.
Here's what SBNation says about their returning production
On the flip side, teams at the bottom might have lean years.
Meanwhile, 80 teams returned no more than 50 percent of their production; 65 of them (81 percent) regressed, 36 (45 percent) by at least a touchdown.
Last year’s bottom 10 teams saw their win total decrease by a combined 27 games, from 76 to 49. LSU and FIU each managed to improve by one win, and Colorado held steady at 5-7. The other seven all fell by at least two wins, and four (Navy, Colorado State, Louisville, and CMU) all fell by at least four.
The one thing that might keep UAB from being one of those teams to drop 2.7 games. UAB still has a lot of R-SR and R-JR's, a gift from the NCAA to move into the starting lineup
As a matter of fact the bottom 4 teams on their list are ranked 90+ in production returning
Do you have a moment to sit and discuss our coach and friend, Bill Clark?
Under Garrick Mcgee 2013 UAB won 1 FBS game, including losing to a previously 0-23 Southern Miss team by a blowout.
Bill Clark took that team and got them bowl eligible in one off season with limited recruiting and no facilities.
In 2017, after not playing for 2 seasons, he took a bunch of Juco players to an 8-5 finish in second place in the west. Practice facilities very much improved.
In 2018, UAB went 11-3 and won the conference championship.
We still have 35 juniors on this roster that have been practicing together for 3+ years. We'll be at the top of the conference again. Maybe not another conference championship, but we could still see 9 or more wins. It'll probably be November before we take a loss.
Hey anything is possible. A lot of people like Bill Clark but let me point out one fact to you. Yes Bill Clark took a team from 2-10 to 6-6 but let me point something out about that....
a ton of those UAB players that left and played at other school in 2015. Well a ton of them went on to start at the school they went to. So you can look at that 6-6 as improvement. But you can also look at what those players on that 6-6 team did after leaving UAB. And see that 6-6 as under preforming.
Last year CUSA was the worse offensive conference since Western joined. It wasnt even close. But like I said, anything is possible
Here’s your list:
https://www.espn.com/college-football/st...ed-program
How many of those players went to d1 programs and contributed? There were some greats-Howard and Ganus really stand out, but it isn’t like we had 80 players that fbs teams were lining up to sign.
You do love knocking UAB any chance you get though, so I’m not sure why I’m even bothering to reply.
