Mixed feeling on this ruling. Are they doing it for one year or do they see it being from here on? Are they looking at all sports, football, MBB and WBB...ect.

Pretty sure I read that if the rule changes, it goes into effect in 2021.

Im not sure we are still in but I've been following the recruitment of Chi Chi Avery. That would be a good get, but he might be off the table with long.

And he wouldn't be the first recruit to include us in a top 5 or top 3 that didn't actually hold a committable offer at the time of commitment. Figured someone would know if we were still actively recruiting him or not.

I would make it fit. Having more talented players is better. This kid is certainly better than some of the others we offered (Burke, for example). At least with a guy like him, he can play 3 positions.

It's really clear that some people don't understand how recruiting works, don't understand that reported offers are not the same as commitable offers, and refuse to understand anything that would take away from their ability to blame Jeff Jones for everything that is wrong in the world.
